Irene Klaver, Brian O’Connor, and Deama Khader
Irene J. Klaver is Professor of Philosophy and founding director of the Philosophy of Water Project at the University of North Texas. She has written extensively on water and cultural diversity, environmental philosophy, and environmental imagination. Her award-winning documentary film, “The New Frontier: Sustainable Ranching in the American West,” (which can be streamed here) was selected by the U.S. Department of State for showings around the world.
Brian C. O’Connor is Professor of Information Science and founding director of the Visual Thinking Laboratory at the University of North Texas. He was born and raised in Manchester. His research centers both on technical aspects of how movies work and on the relationship between digital technology and public knowledge. He has produced documentaries on topics ranging from horse pulling to U.S. Olympic gymnasts to low-income housing issues.
Deama Khader is an Information Science student at the University of North Texas, minoring in Arabic and Art History. Her work in the Visual Thinking Laboratory is centered around creating video and web content for the Amoskeag Triptych Project.
